Best Practices for Publishing to YouTube in the New Adobe Captivate 5.5

I’ll keep this introduction short and to the point and get to the video quickly. One of my favorite new features in Adobe Captivate 5.5 is publishing to YouTube.

However before you hit the new YouTube button in the toolbar, I recommend you watch this short video where I share some best practices for you to consider, in order to get the most out of this feature. I also go over another great new feature, namely the ability to publish your projects in the background using the new Adobe Captivate Video Publisher, while at the same time being able to continue working with your Adobe Captivate projects.

I hope you like this new feature and once you start using it, please share your public videos on YouTube created with Captivate 5.5 and I’ll go and check them out.

As always, please help me spread the word by clicking the ReTweet button above.

Will posting to You Tube also include user interaction such click boxes, quizzes, etc. and report to the LMS? Or should we publish just for demo purposes only.

Hi RJ – is it possible to upload a project with a TOC in it to Youtube? It looks like it needs to be SWF, therefore, publishing to mp4 basically removed the TOC
