Introducing our new Adobe TCS 2.5 site now with Video Featurettes

I’m thrilled to share with all of you that our newly redesigned Adobe Technical Communication Suite 2.5 website is now live!

We have redesigned our site to allow for easier access to our trial software in the cloud, latest news, case studies, links to our Twitter accounts and Adobe in Technical Communications Blogs, as well as our brand new video featurettes.

Here are some of the highlights of the new website:

Trial in the Cloud, no download required

With 6 major Adobe software applications in Adobe Technical Communication Suite 2.5, plus 10 other smaller programs, evaluating the entire Suite has been a challenge for our customers because of the total file size of the software. In an effort to provide a better trial experience to our customers, we have been working with Runaware, who specializes in hosting full versions of software in a virtual environment, delivered via the browser. This means that you can now get your hands on our entire Suite in literally minutes and without having to download the trial version of the software. I have also been working with a team of instructional designers to make sure we included several step-by-step tutorials to help you explore the key functionality in the various products and their integration points.

WHICH ROLE DESCRIBES YOU BEST?

This is a new section on the main website that will help our users find more information related to their professional role. Clicking "Read more" will provide access to additional content, including short video featurettes.

Social Media

On the right hand side, under "Hear from Us" visitors will now have access to our Twitter accounts and Blogs.

I personally worked very hard on developing these videos, so naturally, I’m very excited about this page and I really hope you like how they turned out.

We are featuring 5 videos today and I plan to add more in the coming weeks.

Needless to say, I used Adobe Captivate 5 to develop these videos, along with Adobe Soundbooth for the audio and Photoshop for the graphics.

Please check these out (click images with play icons) when you have a moment and share your feedback with me by leaving a comment here on the blog, or by sending me a Tweet @rjacquez.
