Understanding how the new Quizzes work in Adobe Captivate 5.5 [VIDEO]

I hope you are enjoying learning more about our new Adobe Captivate 5.5 and Adobe eLearning Suite 2.5 releases, and also that you have had a chance to download the trials and take the new features for a spin.

One thing I’m really excited about is our new Quizzes in Adobe Captivate 5.5 and in general how question slides are presented to the Learner. One of our goals in this release was to enable our users to develop more aesthetically pleasing and eye-catching e-Learning content with gradients, shadows, object rotations and of course our new Quiz templates.

I’ve already received many questions about where the new Quiz templates are, as well as questions about the new menu item in the Quiz menu (i.e. Download Quiz Templates), plus what happens to new quizzes I create from scratch and those I created in a previous version, after I upgrade to version 5.5?

In this video I go over the new Quizzing functionality, as well as answer all of these questions. Please check out and let me know what you think.

Also, in case you haven’t entered my Twitter giveaway of a full copy of the new Adobe Captivate 5.5 software, you can find the rules HERE.

Finally, thanks for visiting my blog and watching the video above, and as always I appreciate it if you could help me share the post with your Twitter followers by clicking the Tweet button, located at the top left of this post.

Very nice work. Love the enhanced features for the quiz. The new templates are very clean. I’m wondering if in a future release if the Master slide linked to a screen will be copied over when you paste a slide into a new project. It would be nice to have this done in one step instead of two. Keep up the great work.

I noticed in one of your presentations you were able to input a more detailed explanation for why an answer is correct or not. Could you tell me please where this detailed info is added so it could be displayed during the User review? At this time, all I am able to get is the “Red X” and “Green check-mark”.

This video was informative, but I need information on how to report the results.  Do you have another video on that topic? I am specifically looking to report to email. Thanks.
